Travelling Outside the Region
Taking a coach bus is almost five times as efficient as a plane ride, and Amtrak trains are nearly four times as efficient as airplanes. The Metro-accessible St. Louis Gateway Transportation Center in downtown St. Louis is home to the Amtrak, Greyhound, and Megabus stations. Buses and trains are available to Chicago, Kansas City, Dallas, Memphis, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and other destinations across the Midwest and the US.
