WashU Hires for Two Positions Focused on Climate Action

This past May, Michael Bloomberg announced the creation of the Midwestern Collegiate Climate Summit, the largest expected convening of Midwest universities focused on climate action. Washington University in St. Louis, which serves as the anchor university, will be hosting the Summit in the spring of 2020.

Bloomberg Philanthropies’ generous gift will support regional cross-sector collaboration through measurable climate action focused on mitigating the causes of climate change and moving to a 100% clean-energy economy.

To support this work, WashU is hiring for two exciting positions, listed below. Both positions are 1-year contract positions that will work on the Danforth Campus.

1) Climate and Energy Data Analyst (Job ID 45279)

The Climate and Energy Data Analyst will work closely with partners in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis region to advance building energy efficiency work and carbon goal setting.

2) Climate Outreach Coordinator (Job ID 45278)

The Climate Outreach Coordinator will play a lead role in planning the Midwest Collegiate Climate Summit, as well as convening St. Louis regional executive leaders to advance climate collaboration.
