Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs provide a convenient and affordable way for community members to access fresh, healthy and seasonal food while supporting and connecting with local farmers.
Sign-up as a CSA member and receive a weekly or bi-weekly Crop Box filled with locally grown produce, meat, eggs, yogurt and other artisan goods. Brought to you by Washington University’s Office of Sustainability and HR Well-Being in partnership with Local Farmer CSA.
Crop Box Options
Participants purchase a farm share when signing-up, and in return, receive a weekly or bi-weekly box of locally grown items based on the type of Crop Box selected. Contents of boxes are subject to change, based on season and availability.
Options include:
- Student Box – $20 per box
- Garden Share: Farm-Fresh and Fully Vegan – $24.99 per box
- Farm Share Box – $29.99 per box
- The BIG Box – $50 per box
- Build Your Own Box – $40 per box
You can cancel or put your account on hold at any time. New participants will be charged a one-time $15 registration fee.
For the month of April, any WashU student or employee will have their registration fee waived.

Pickup Times & Locations
Crop Boxes can be picked up weekly or bi-weekly across multiple campuses:
- Danforth Campus, Wednesdays, 3pm – 5pm. Box distribution is located on the parking lot between the Alumni House and Music Library, across Forsyth from the DUC.
- West Campus, Wednesdays, 12pm – 2pm. Box distribution is located on the parking lot behind the 7509 Forsyth building in Clayton.
- School of Medicine Campus, Thursdays from 10am-2pm. Box distribution is located at the weekly Farmers Market on University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Quad (outdoor location) or McDonnell Pediatrics Lobby (indoor location).
