Mushroom Dave Opens Storefront

WashU Farmers Market vendor of several years, Mushroom Dave, is excited to announce the opening of a physical storefront in Pacific, Missouri.

Mushroom Dave’s Place was made possible through a collaboration with Crooked Creek Beef, a small farm located just outside of Pacific, Missouri. The store will sell an expanded version of Dave’s market stand, including Crooked Creek meat products, produce (including his famous mushrooms, of course), and pantry items. 90 – 95% of the items for sale will be sourced from within two hours of St. Louis. The store will also feature a carry-out style restaurant, serving dishes handcrafted from in-store ingredients through pick up windows to an outdoor area with picnic tables. Dave will be overseeing the entire business including the storefront, restaurant, and Community Supported Agriculture program with the help of his brother and mom.

Over 100 customers attended Mushroom Dave’s Place’s soft opening on June 14, and Dave is hoping to double that number at the store’s grand opening on July 5. The restaurant side will open in early August. Mushroom Dave’s Place will be open 10am – 6pm Wednesday through Sunday, at 326 S. First Street in Pacific, Missouri.
