To support widespread adoption of Rheaply, WashU’s online platform that facilitates the re-circulation of materials and equipment, offices and labs can request free on-site posting and surplus management to make reuse even easier.

This service will be provided by a trained student associate from the Office of Sustainability.

*Service is not available during academic breaks and when classes are not in session; not available during COVID-19 alternative operations.

NOTES: This service is being offered as a pilot to increase early adoption of the Rheaply online tool. The Office of Sustainability does not guarantee the availability of staff to support the online posting process.

Once the surplus is posted, an office/lab staff person will need to monitor posts, respond to inquiries, and arrange for pick up and financial transactions. If a posted item is not claimed/sold, the office/lab will be responsible for the disposal of the items.

Posted materials/equipment should be stored onsite during posting period.

At this time, we cannot guarantee services to campuses outside of Danforth due to transportation limitations. However, offices and labs from outside Danforth may inquire about the availability of support.

Large scale clear-outs with quick turnaround are better suited for Rheaply’s concierge service (fees apply).

Alternatively, you can connect with a Rheaply support specialist for an online demonstration, to schedule a larger lab or office clear out, or any other questions you may have by following this link.
