Emma Waltman

Emma Waltman is a junior at Wash U from Hopewell, New Jersey. She is currently pursuing a major in Biology on the Ecology and Evolution track and minors in Art and Environmental Studies. She joined the Office of Sustainability in Fall 2016 as the first Climate Associate and works to increase climate change initiatives and awareness of global environmental politics on campus. She is also a member of Wash U Women’s Ultimate (WUWU) and the Student Green Council. She loves spending time hiking and backpacking in the wilderness, and some of her favorite things include succulents, chocolate and turtles.
