Repair and Reuse Fair

March 26, 2018
11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Danforth University Center, 239

The Post-Landfill Action Network (PLAN) is going on a national tour where they are showcasing individuals and organizations who are challenging the linear consumption model from the point of extraction all the way to the site of disposal. Through highlighting the resistance efforts of frontline communities, companies who are taking holistic approaches to manufacturing, water protectors and land defenders who stand for indigenous sovereignty, and lots of other work, they strive to show the many of ways we can intervene in this broken system. While no one can do everything, everyone can do something. In recognizing people who resist, redesign, repair, reuse, rediscover, and reclaim, we hope you walk away from this event inspired, activated and motivated!

PLAN is collaborating with SWAP: Sharing With A Purpose

Starting at 11am, the Repair and Reuse Fair will feature a free market and Zero Waste Crafting activities!
