This panel is open to the entire Wash U community. The objective will be to explore the renewable energy industry’s emerging  markets, policy, finance, and technology, and how these yield new business opportunities and societal change, including low-carbon technologies for addressing climate change and the transformation of the grid from a primarily fossil fuel-based centralized grid to a decentralized low-carbon “smart grid”.   The panel will have offer a variety of perspectives, including those from utility, investor, large RE consumer, RE developer, and academic representatives.
