MetroLink and MicroBrew Tour – CANCELLED

Discover a downtown microbrewery with a visit to Brick River Cider Co. via a group MetroLink ride on Saturday, October 27, 2018!

Participants will explore the brewery on a guided tour with Lead Cider Maker Tom Johnson. Johnson will detail the history of the building and the Brick River process to making a great cider. Participants are asked to wear close toed shoes to take this tour. There will be an opportunity to purchase beverages and food at the event.

There will be two meeting locations, both of which are at a free MetroLink Park & Ridelot, to accommodate people coming from various neighborhoods. We will gather on the eastbound Metro platform

  • Richmond Heights at 11a (train leaves at 11:16a)
  • Forest Park DeBaliviere at 11:10a (train leaves at 11:25a)

You can reach both of the meeting locations by parking at one of the 24 and catching a train. All the Park & Rides are free to use except for the Clayton Transit Center.

While the tour is free, we are expecting participants to bring a valid Metro ticket or U-Pass. All WashU full-time employees and students are eligible to receive a free U-Pass from Parking & Transportation Services (register for a U-Pass here). Please make sure to bring your U-Pass or a valid transportation ticket the day of the event.
