On February 1st, the EPA recommended partial excavation of the West Lake Landfill in Bridgeton to remove radioactive waste linked to the Manhattan Project. As a result, Green Action began an initiative to pressure the EPA to remove ALL of the radioactive waste in Westlake Landfill and to protect the nearby community members.

Green Action is hosting a comment writing session Friday, February 23rd from 12-2pm in the Harvey Media Center in the DUC for those interested in writing their own comment letter. If you have any questions, please reach out to Channing Hunter (channing.hunter@wustl.edu).
