Tuesday, September 24th, 2019

1:30pm-4:00pm

Food Truck Area, corner of Scott Ave. & Taylor Ave, School of Medicine

The free Ride & Drive event will be held in the Food Truck Area at the corner of Scott Ave and Taylor Ave on the Washington University School of Medicine campus. See below for full rules and details. There will be display vehicles for you to learn about specific EVs – affordable models and luxury models.

Electric vehicles are consistently getting cleaner over time because of energy grids incorporating renewables and the vehicles themselves becoming more efficient. Some electric vehicles produce fewer emissions than a traditional vehicle that gets over 80mpg! These improvements make electric vehicles are a great option for individuals wanting to reduce their carbon footprint, but can’t quite give up the reliability of having a personal vehicle.

Full Event Details and Rules:

  • In order to test drive a vehicle, individuals must show their WashU identification badge, their driver’s license, have auto insurance, and sign a waiver. All of this can be done at the registration tent.

  • The event is from 1:30pm-4:00pm
