“Conflict, Environment & Global Health – Through the Lens of a Journalist” will be presented by Nigel Walker, as a part of a Speaker Series hosted by the WashU Brown School and School of Medicine. Nigel Walker is an international journalist, filmmaker, and producer from London. A marine biologist by training, Walker has worked on issues ranging from conflict and human rights to global health and issues of social justice. His work has taken him from Afghanistan, Palestine, Nepal to Ivory Coast and most recently Iraq to document human rights violations and questions of social justice. The event on the 27th is titled: “Conflict, Human Rights, and Justice: Using Information.”
