Come join Timmy Global Health for our annual “Timmy Week”. This year we will be screening “Bending the Arc”, a documentary about Dr. Paul Farmer, Dr. Jim Yong Kim, activist Ophelia Dahl, who began their mission to create a public health revolution in Haiti over 30 years ago. It tells the story of the beginnings of Partners in Health and their mission to eradicate HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis in Haiti as well as among rest of the world.
Produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, the film came out last year and is truly inspiring and thought-provoking and Timmy Global Health is offering a free screening Thursday, March 29th 6:30-8pm in Siegle L002. There will be free food and snacks provided! Come and join us!
