Transportation

Active Transportation Month Returns this April

Join the Office of Sustainability, Parking and Transportation Services and friends for a month of exciting events centered around Active Transportation!

With many fun and educational events throughout the month of April, we aim to recognize and support our active commuters, encourage current drivers to utilize alternative transportation, educate about mobility and safety on campus pathways, and gain a better understanding of the WashU community’s transportation patterns and challenges.

The festival is a community tradition to learn about sustainable products and services offered by local businesses and organizations, meet local area non-profits that share Earthday 365 values, as well as showcasing local entertainment and local Green Dining Alliance restaurants.

This year for the first time, students of the “Cycles” class will be joining us for the ride, along with the few human-powered vehicles built from discarded bikes as part of the class. We look forward to seeing the results of this semester-long studio!
