The Office of Sustainability leads Washington University in St. Louis’ efforts to transform our campus into a living learning laboratory that connects teaching and research directly to sustainable campus operations.
Our efforts are guided by goals outlined in the university’s Strategic Plan for Sustainable Operations. Success in achieving these goals depends on the passion, hard work, and creativity of our entire community of students, faculty, staff, and regional partners. As a result, the Office of Sustainability serves as a facilitator, convening and partnering with university leaders to work toward a more sustainable campus.
