Program Coordinator Internship - Ujima

Sharaya Hill is a 2nd year doctoral of occupational therapy student. She is from Houston,TX and a former early childhood special education teacher. Upon completing her studies at Howard University, she completed a gap year in Spain where she taught English to disadvantaged children. Upon returning to America she became committed to helping children with special needs in and out of the classroom, eventually earning her masters in special education. As an occupational therapist she hopes to continue to help others as they navigate life’s challenges. During her time at WashU she served as events co-chair for COTAD and is the ASD Vice Chairperson elect for AOTA. She is excited to make an impact in the urban St. Louis community and learn about urban farming.
