Campus Foraging Tour

Meet at Brookings Hall Arch

Celebrate Earth Week with an exploration of edible plants on campus. The tour will be led by Stan Braude, teaching professor in the Department of Biology. The tour will begin at 11 am in Brookings Quad and conclude at the Burning Kumquat student-run campus organic farm where Chef Patrick McElroy will prepare a small salad from foraged items for participants to taste. All tour attendees will receive a free reusable bamboo cutlery kit, courtesy of the Office of Sustainability. This event is open to all students, faculty and staff.

This event is co-sponsored by Dining Services.
