Lighten Your Load: Donation Pick Ups

Share Our Stuff (SOS) is WashU’s annual move-out donation drive. This university-wide effort is designed to make it easy for all students to donate their unwanted items at move out in a manner that benefits our community and keeps usable goods out of the landfill.

Graduating seniors and WashU students living in off-campus housing can donate their unwanted goods as they move out on select dates in May & June.  

Schedule a curbside pick up in advance using the form below. On the day of your scheduled pick up, bring your items to the alley 10am. Event dates are May 10, 12, 22 and June 26. Do not put out items outside of the designate pick up dates.

NOTE: Because students are more spread out this year in response to COVID-related logistics, we are trying to accommodate requests for pickups within a slightly expanded service area. However, our capacity to travel beyond the established service areas depends heavily on the volume of requests we receive. Pick ups beyond the service area is not guaranteed; we will contact you if we anticipate not being able to service your request. We highly encourage using the North Campus donations area for smaller items (open M-F, 8:30a – 4:30p through the Parking & Transportation Office) or doing a direct drop off any items for donation or disposal at North Campus on June 26, between 9a and 4p.
