Celebrate public transit and urban agriculture at its finest!  Register now to take a ride on the Metrolink to the Food Roof, a rooftop farm in downtown St. Louis. Participants will get a chance to tour the 10,000 square foot farm, sample some of local produce and see the way the Food Roof’s innovative approach to farming. There may even be some opportunities to get your hands in the dirt and contribute to the caring of the space!

This will also be a great opportunity to experience the local Metro system as a group and to explore your home city in an original way! Please come with a Metro ticket or U-Pass. All full-time students are eligible for a free U-Pass with WashU Parking & Transportation Services. If you don’t have already one, request your U-Pass here!

Want to join? Meet us up at one of these two locations:

• 11am – Meet outside of Green Hall (across the street from the Skinker metrolink station, in front of the big “Washington University” sign). We will walk to the Skinker station train platform (train leaves at 11:23a).
• 11:15am – Meet on the south side of the Hope Plaza fountain. We will walk to the Central West End station train platform (train leaves at 11:28a).
