Jarea Fang

Jarea is a senior originally from Houston, Texas, double-majoring in Studio Art and Comparative Literature with a minor in writing. She values the power of visual and literary communication in promoting empathy and understanding among diverse groups of people. She is excited join WashU’s sustainability efforts by educating students on the importance of environmental advocacy through art and writing. Apart from environmental justice, Jarea also deeply cares about Asian-American representation, equity in education, LGBTQ+ activism, and the importance of storytelling.

At the Office of Sustainability, Jarea serves as one of the two Communication Associates.
