World Food Day is an international day of action dedicated to raising awareness and tackling the problem of global hunger that affects 820 million people around the world. This year the theme is “Healthy Diets for a Zero Hunger World.”
In honor of this day, the Brown School’s transdisciplinary course “Global Hunger and Malnutrition” is hosting an interactive event focusing on hunger, undernutrition, and food waste around the world. There will be interactive activities and free samples of healthy recipes from around the globe. Join us in Goldfarb Lounge from 12pm-1pm!
This event is part of WashU’s 2019 Food Week! Visit this page to view the full program.
