Arbor Tour: 10th Anniversary

Learn about WashU’s trees from the experts who plan and maintain the campus canopy. Self-guided group tours, as well as a tour with the campus arborist, are among the menu of special events curated to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Arbor Tour. October 29

  • 12p – 1p WashU’s Tree History followed by a Q&A with a panel of experts (limit: 75) DUC 276
  • 1p – 2p Self-Guided Tour (volunteers will guide participants through recommended routes) Tours originate at the DUC.

November 5 (DATED CHANGED DUE TO WEATHER)

  • 10a – 11:15a East-End Tour 1 (Tour originates at Schnuck Pavilion) (limit: 40)
  • 11:15a – 11:30a Tree Planting
  • 1:30p – 2:45p East-End Tour 2 (Tour originates at Schnuck Pavilion) (limit: 40)
  • 2:45p – 3p Tree Planting
  • 3p Notification of Raffle Winners

RSVP for events with space limitations here.

Attendees receive raffle tickets and/or door prizes at each event. Raffle prizes include native trees and hand-crafted items made from wood salvaged from campus trees (including the pin oaks from the Brookings Allee). Raffle prize winners will be announced at 3p on Nov. 5.
