For the upcoming summer and Fall semester, there are a number of opportunities for students to engage in sustainability leadership events and programming. We have compiled some of these opportunities below.
Apply to the SPARK student leadership program
SPARK: Sustainability Leadership Training Program is a program hosted by the Office of Sustainability. The second cohort will take place August 18-28 on campus and at select locations across St. Louis and Illinois. The program will bring together student delegates from a range of green groups to learn and network with other environmentally-minded WashU students.
Become a WashU Green Ambassador
The WashU Green Ambassador (WUGA) Program is a student-managed, peer-education program supported by the Office of Sustainability that orients new students to sustainability initiatives on WashU’s campus. WUGAs play a critical role in training first-year students to adopt behaviors that align with WashU’s culture of sustainability; behaviors that they will carry with them during their time at WashU and beyond.
Apply for Student Environmental Council leadership
