Reusable utensil sets are now available for online purchase for $8 apiece. Get your own and make sure to carry it around at all times so you can ensure zero waste dining, even on the go!

Each set includes

  • Reusable fork, knife and spoon made from rapidly renewable and compostable bamboo
  • Stainless straw and brush set
  • Cotton travel pouch

In addition to avoiding hundreds of plastic utensils from polluting the environment, bringing your own utensils ensures that you are the only person touching them. Keep them in your purse or backpack to ensure you always have what you need to eat on the go. Hand wash with warm, soapy water, and repeat!

You can either schedule a pick up directly from the Office of Sustainability, receive the set in your campus box, or get the set(s) shipped to your home address for an additional $3 shipping fee.

The distribution of free utensil sets for WashU students is August 15 – October 22. Thanks to the over 500 students who took the mini training online and received their own kits!
