Brenda is a senior majoring in Environmental Biology and Spanish. She loves bees, pollination and plants, and wants to find equitable and strategic ways to conserve these systems. Her passion for environmental issues began as she participated in field research and learned more about how sustainability and education intersect. She looks forward to helping WashU foster more sustainable practices. On campus, Brenda runs on the track and field team and is a coach for Bear Cubs Running Club. She also serves on the executive board of Sisters of Color and Reflections.
