I-CARES Call for Research Proposals

Washington University’s International Center for Advanced Renewable Energy and Sustainability (I-CARES) recently announced a call for research proposals. I-CARES works to encourage research of renewable energy and sustainable practices at all levels: institutional, regional, and international. The call for proposals gives WashU faculty the chance to be a part of the movement to address modern sustainability issues. In 2016, I-CARES plans to award up to $500,000 in seed funding. Individual projects could receive anywhere from $5,000 to $50,000. At least one of the projects selected will focus on the intersection of climate change and food and water. In hopes of getting undergraduates involved, research involving students will be favorably considered.

Letters of intent are due February 19.
