The WashU Student Green Council is hosting a free workshop to encourage students living off campus to compost.

15 “households” will receive all the supplies and training necessary to start composting in their apartments, using a process called “vermicompost,” which uses worms to turn organic waste into nutrient-rich fertilizer.

A “household” is a group of people that will use the same compost bin. Each household receives one composting bin. We encourage you to share with roommates, floor mates, and neighbors!

Only one representative per household is needed at the training session, but more are welcome. The first 15 households to sign up will be contacted via email. Sign up here!

This workshop is dedicated to WashU students only.
