What? The Office of Sustainability leads Washington University in St. Louis’ efforts to transform our campus into a living learning laboratory that connects teaching and research directly to sustainable campus operations. Our work spans areas ranging from energy and emissions, buildings, landscape, food, transportation, to waste and water.

Who? We are a team of 7 full-time employees supported by a team of paid student associates – averaging 15 per semester – who work together and in partnership with hundreds more people both within WashU and the broader community.
