College Transit Challenge – Ride the Metro to the Jazz Jam

August 28, 2019
6:15 pm - 8:45 pm
Clocktower, 6615 Shepley Drive, Clayton, MO 63105

At 6:15 pm on August 28, meet the WashU Green Ambassadors by the Clocktower for a group ride to Jazz Jam at the Kranzberg Arts Center, located in St. Louis’s central arts district, Grand Center. Bring your friends and experience an evening of talented jazz performed in a city with a lasting jazz legacy! Entry is free.

This will also be a great opportunity to experience the local Metro system as a group and to explore your home city in an original way. Please come with a Metro ticket or U-Pass. All full-time students are eligible for a free U-Pass with WashU Parking & Transportation Services. If you don’t already have one, request your U-Pass here!

By participating in this event, you will compete in the first-ever College Transit Challenge! Help WashU win against other schools in the area by taking the MetroBus or MetroLink on Wednesday, August 28. Ridership will be tracked via social media. Participants simply check-in at a Metro Transit Center – via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter – and post a status update or photo with #iTakeTransit @WashU.

The school with the most ridership will be awarded bragging rights and a MetroLink Train Trophy. Plus, all College Transit Challenge participants will receive a free T-shirt and be entered in a prize drawing!
