Sustainability Staff & Students Ride for Cranksgiving

November 5, 2017
10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Meet at the Schlafly Tap Room

As Thanksgiving and winter break are approaching, the WashU Sustainability crew has decided to get involved with our community. All our staff, faculty and students are invited to participate in Cranksgiving, an annual charity bike ride organized by B-Works since 2012.

On Sunday, November 5th, we’ll be riding our bikes to different grocery stores to purchase food items that will be directly donated to Food Outreach, a St. Louis area organization providing nutrition support for men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS or undergoing cancer treatment.

Join the We Bike WashU  team on Sunday, November 5th at 10am, at the Schlafly Tap Room for a moment of solidarity, health and fun! Invite family, friends, neighbors, and anyone who wants to bike ride for charity. In order to be accessible to all, we’ll be riding the short route (6 miles).

Register online here and team up with “We Bike WashU “!

The cost of participating is free but riders are asked to bring $20 in order to purchase groceries. If you are unable to attend the ride but still want to participate, consider sponsoring a WashU student for up to $20.
