Pilot to Policy: Implementing Street Design Standards

Organized by the Missouri Chapter of the American Planning Association, this panel will discuss how a pilot street design became integrated into the St. Louis street design standards. The project involved multiple stakeholders ranging from community members to elected officials. The following panelists will highlight the multiple perspectives, design elements, and strategic planning that influenced the project:

  • Cindy Mense, Director of Programs – Trailnet
  • Cara Spencer, Alderman Ward 20 – City of St. Louis
  • Wendy Campbell, Community Activist – Dutchtown South
  • Jacque Lumsden, Transportation Planner – CBB Transportation Engineers + Planners

The event starts at 11:30am with a social and networking time, which will be followed by the panel and presentation at noon.

Event free for students and $18 for non students – Lunch will be provided.
