WashU is thrilled to showcase the recently-launched Known & Grown program by hosting a Known & Grown farmers panel discussion on October 22nd at 5p, in the Steinberg Auditorium.

Known & Grown STL is a new regional food system brand that “promotes and supports the work of food producers and retailers who improve our food system, educate residents about food choices, and shift behavior to create a thriving, equitable, and sustainable local food system.”

Learn what “local” really means from environmentally responsible farmers in the St. Louis Foodshed (150-mile radius around St Louis)!

Panelists

Moderator: Jenn DeRose, Known & Grown Manager | Missouri Coalition for the Environment

The panel will be directly followed by the opening reception of the photo exhibition “Innovation, Access, and Equality: Examining the Food Landscape in St. Louis”, located in Steinberg Gallery, just downstairs from the Steinberg Auditorium.

Doors open at 5p, panel starts at 5:15p.
